Resources for Adult Learners

 Current Career Opportunities

This resource is sponsored by the J. Warren and Lois McClure Foundation in partnership with the Vermont Department of Labor (VDOL) and the Vermont Higher Education Council (VHEC). Together, they envision a Vermont in which no promising job goes unfilled for lack of a qualified applicant. The jobs list is compiled from the VDOL's Long Term Occupational Projections released in September 2016 with 2015 wage data. Jobs are categorized by Holland Codes, a widely recognized career classification theory. The VT-based training and degree pathways were identified by VHEC using the Consortium of Vermont Colleges Degree Directory as well as typical qualifications data provided by the DOL.
